For the operator the technology is invisible: she/he selects a displayed graphics control element on the TFT display and presses it. Using IconTrust, SelectTrust selects the pressed control element, allocates a signature and transmits a functionally safe entry action to the safe computer. Reliability of the entry action is thus assured. SelectTrust and IconTrust supervise all safety-relevant areas.

With SelectTrust both safety-relevant and non safety-relevant information can be realised within one single HMI unit.
